Abstract
Technologies of dimensional area model generation are analysed, using data of dimensional scanning. Data of earth’s surface laser scanning using LIDAR method and orthographic charts were used. The accuracy of LIDAR data and output data points’ massive differences were investigated. Means, which impact quality of LIDAR data, were determined and solutions for improvement of scanning technology were provided. An algorhythm aiding to determine and eliminate grave faults in LIDAR data is proposed. For the experimental analysis one chart of Lithuania’s territory of the scale 1:10000 data were used. LIDAR data were obtained and the charts were made in 2009.
