Distribution of Dangerous Meteorological Phenomena and Their Effects at Aerodromes of International Airports of Lithuania

Abstract


For all aerodromes and aircraft operational minima are set, so it is very important to analyze meteorological conditions for planning flights and preparing the timetables for flights of different companies. Meteorological data of Lithuanian aerodromes, based on METAR reports where used to estimate most common meteorological phenomena in this work. Distribution of meteorological phenomena and appropriate meteorological conditions is analyzed according to day and month period and in different seasons at different international aerodromes of Lithuania.
