The flight inspection of very high frequency omnidirectional radio beacons is analyzed in this article. First, general overview of the system is presented, then the performance of flight inspection techniques and equipment is analysed, including ground facilities and equipment located in aircraft carrying out the inspection. Flight inspection data, which are used to decide about final aid status, processing sequence is presented in the article. The comparison of two producers automatic flight inspection systems is done also.
