Parametric Analysis of Wing Section Geometry

This article explores the parameterised airfoil. There is a brief review of different parameterization methods and one method has been chosen for further research. The chosen parameterization method is a class function/shape function (CST) transformation technique. The purpose of this article is to determine the optimal degree of Bernstein polynomial used for class function in the chosen parameterisation method. Airfoil computational characteristics are calculated using XFOIL program.
