In order to perform smooth and efficient traffic organization and to ensure safe operation, it is necessary to take into account weather conditions and their impact. Based on the climatic tables and corresponding summaries posed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) requirements, it is possible to identify typical meteorological characteristics corresponding to the aerodrome and to climatic profile. This paper provides an overview of the most important meteorological elements: visibility, wind speed and direction, cloud height, and the lower limit harmful effects, their distribution, impact on NATO and air force operation organization in Siauliai military airfield. Data of 5 years was used data to evaluate meteorological conditions of Siauliai military airfield.
