The analyzed questions of GALILEO system and its user equipment development tendencies are presented in this article. Because of its advantages of the GALILEO system will apply in many different fields. Currently build GALILEO receivers can have a few centimeters of accuracy in positioning. The main trend of GALILEO system user equipment is multifunctionality.
