The present article analyses information about meteorological conditions and braking action in Vilnius International Airport aerodrome. Research on measurement of braking action and study of braking action importance was carried out. A review of the most important studies which analyse how the information about meteorological and runway conditions is transferred for aviators is presented. During the research METARs, SNOWTAMs and other information was analyzed. Also a questionnaire about the importance of the braking action for the pilots was carried out and the results were analysed.
