Abstract

At this moment, unmanned aerial vehicles, navigation, guidance and control are fairly popular research topics. There are lots of works which are being done to increase automation level and flight accuracy of these aircrafts. In many articles there are much of information about the efforts done to increase the independence of various decision making processes. The main topic of this article is to highlight the connections between navigation, guidance and control algorithms and their use for various problems solving. As problematic area to apply these navigation, guidance and control algorithms, we have chosen accuracy of aircrafts trajectory in various wind and other meteorological conditions. This article gives a short survey about the recent years works in UAV navigation, guidance and control, the measurements of various meteorological parameters using UAV and the accuracy of the UAV flight in different meteorological environments.
